The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is inexpensive, typically leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.

But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the issue of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints in the world, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving lucrative too, currently their client-list contains McDonald's.
